Following the swim, you will begin your journey into the true calling card for this event, the Mississippi River Bluff Country. But there is a price to pay for all this ambiance. The same terrain that makes this race so inviting is the same terrain that makes this event one of the most challenging triathlons in the Midwest.
TRINONA features some of the best giveaways of any race in the Midwest. In 2011, every participant received a custom backpack, water bottle, t-shirt, custom finisher medal, Trinona swim cap, Clif bar product, Gu Energy Gel, Watkins lip balm and more! 2012 promises more giveaways from even more sponsors!
In 2009, Trinona launched an ambitious "green" initiative that included unique partnerships with the Council for Responsible Sport, CarbonFund.org, UltraGreen and other local brands such as the J.R. Watkins Company & Fastenal, that are committed to being environmentally friendly.
TRINONA 2012 is Scheduled for Sunday, June 10.
